It seems that both the weather and the property market have a number of things in common; despite endless speculation and prediction they both continue to surprise us and often can behave in an unseasonal manner. Hence we have snow lying in Hampshire at the end of November and at The Country House Company we have had a frenzy of activity with two village cottages we have had for sale. The run up to Christmas is traditionally a quiet time for the property market, particularly in sales yet both these cottages have attracted an exceptional level of interest, with a high level of viewings and offers within a week of going on the market.
